Coffee Club is a productivity skill that manages a workplace "coffee club" and takes the guesswork out of trips to the coffee shop for the team.
People can have strong opinions about everything, even how they want their coffee. With Coffee Club you can ask who wants coffee, create your custom order to take with you to the coffee shop. Better yet, screenshot it and send someone else. Your time is valuable!
The coffee club itself is a list of names, stored alongside their preferred coffee type and size.
Start by launching the skill using one of the example phrases on this page.
To add a member, say:
"add a new member"
The skill then uses Alexa Conversations to gather the necessary details, and saves the member's drink preferences in the coffee club until they are needed for a future "coffee run".
To start a coffee run, say:
"start coffee run"
The skill uses Alexa Conversations again, this time to capture a list of up to five names to include in this order. The skill checks the club for each name you specify, adds the drink details for those who are in the club to an "order" which you'll find on a skill card in your Alexa app.
start over and erase all coffee club members, just say:
"reset club"
The skill asks for confirmation before removing all members so that you can start afresh.
