Get The Pixel Dailies Theme in your Flash Briefing!
Most of us pixel artists are very familiar and fond of Pixel Dailies! Unfortunately, a lot of times we get too busy and forget to check what is the theme for the day. Now you can get the theme in your Flash Briefing and not miss a topic that inspires you!
When is the briefing updated? The script will run at 10am & 1pm UTC time. The first time is typically after the theme is posted but I have it run again to try and make sure to capture it for the day!
What is Pixel Dailies? Pixel Dailies is a Twitter account that posts a theme every day. Pixel artists will create art based on the theme and tag it with #pixel_dailies. Pixel Dailies account will retweet a lot of them so the love gets spread around. It is not a contest, just a friendly exercise in art and creativity, plus builds community.
Why this skill was created? I used to do pixel dailies all the time. Lately, I have been pretty busy and hardly check what the theme. Some days I think "I am going to do one today" but check the theme and it just isn't for me (for example a game reference I have never heard of). Other times I notice a theme from days ago that I would have loved to do! This way I can get the theme in my morning briefing so am aware and if inspiration strikes I won't miss out!
