With the BroadLink and Alexa, you can now interact with your BroadLink devices by voice.
To get started:
1. Sign up / sign in broadlink App Download and install broadLink App and sign up a BroadLink account.
2. Add device Make sure the Wi-Fi device has been correctly configured in broadLink App and you can remotely control/access it via external networks (3G/4G).
3. Enable skill In Alexa App, search and enable the skill “BroadLink”. Then follow the wizard to link your Amazon account to BroadLink account. After account linking process is completed, discover devices in Alexa App or say “Alexa, discover devices” and make sure the devices listed and displayed as the same name in broadlink international App.
NOTE: You need to discover devices again in Alexa App if the device has been reset.
4. Control device by voice
Now you can say to Alexa for voice control.
If you named another device “TV” (controlled by BroadLink Universal Remote), you can say: “Alexa, turn on TV” ”Alexa, volume up on TV” ”Alexa, next channel on TV” “Alexa, pause on TV”.
Troubleshooting: If Alexa returns voice the device isn’t responding, there might be because the device is offline. Please try to access the device in broadlink App. If the App shows “Device is offline”, please check your network connection until you can access the device in app.
