IMPORTANT:

With the ihc and Alexa, you can now interact with your ihc devices by voice.

To get started:

1. Sign up / sign in ihc App
Download and install Intelligent Home Center (ihc) App (search “ihc” or “Intelligent Home Center” in App Store or Google Play) and sign up a ihc account.

2. Add device
Make sure the Wi-Fi device has been correctly configured in ihc App and you can remotely control/access it via external networks (3G/4G).

3. Enable skill
In Alexa App, search and enable the skill “ihc”. Then follow the wizard to link your Amazon account to ihc account.
After account linking process is completed, discover devices in Alexa App or say “Alexa, discover devices” and make sure the device is listed and displayed as the same name in ihc App.

NOTE: You need to discover devices again in Alexa App if one of the following changes were made:
Changed device name,
Added or deleted device,
The device has been reset.

4. Control device by voice

Now you can say to Alexa for voice control.

When using the skill, you will need to specify by name which device to use.
For example, if you named one of your devices “Bedroom Lamp” (plug in ihc Smart Plug), you can say: “Alexa, turn off my Bedroom Lamp.”

If you named another device “TV” (controlled by ihc Smart Remote Control), you can say: “Alexa, turn on TV” ”Alexa, volume up on TV” ”Alexa, next channel on TV” “Alexa, pause on TV”.

Troubleshooting:
If Alexa returns voice the device isn’t responding, there might be because the device is offline. Please try to access the device in ihc App. If the App shows “Device is offline”, please check your network connection until you can access the device in app.
