With the AC Freedom EU Alexa, you can now interact with your AC Freedom EU devices by voice.
To get started:
1. Sign up / sign in AC Freedom App Download and install AC Freedom App (search “AC Freedom” in App Store or Google Play) . Make sure select the european region and sign up a AC Freedom account.
2. Add device Make sure that the Wi-Fi device is properly configured under the European region of the AC Freedom App and you can remotely control/access it via an external network (3G / 4G).
3. Enable skill In Google home App, search and enable the skill “AC Freedom EU”. Then follow the wizard to link your Amazon account to AC Freedom European Regional Account. After account linking process is completed, discover devices in Google home App or say “Google home, discover devices” and make sure the device is listed and displayed as the same name in AC Freedom App.
NOTE: You need to discover devices again in Alexa App if one of the following changes were made: Changed device name, Added or deleted device, The device has been reset.
4. Control device by voice
Now you can say to Alexa for voice control.
When using the skill, you will need to specify by name which device to use. For example, if you named one of your devices “Bedroom Lamp”, you can say: “Alexa, turn off Bedroom Lamp.”
If you named another device “Air conditioner”, you can say: “Alexa, turn on Air conditioner”
Troubleshooting: If Alexa returns voice the device isn’t responding, there might be because the device is offline. Please try to access the device in AC Freedom App. If the App shows “Device is offline”, please check your network connection until you can access the device in app.
