ihc for EU

IMPORTANT:

With the ihc for EU and Alexa, you can now interact with your ihc devices by voice.

To get started:

1. Sign up / sign in ihc for EU App
Download and install Intelligent Home Center for EU (ihc for EU) App (search “ihc” or “Intelligent Home Center” in App Store or Google Play) and sign up a ihc account.

2. Add device
Make sure the Wi-Fi device has been correctly configured in ihc for EU App and you can remotely control/access it via external networks (3G/4G).

3. Enable skill
In Alexa App, search and enable the skill “ihc for EU”. Then follow the wizard to link your Amazon account to ihc for EU account.
After account linking process is completed, discover devices in Alexa App or say “Alexa, discover devices” and make sure the device is listed and displayed as the same name in ihc for EU App.

NOTE: You need to discover devices again in Alexa App if one of the following changes were made:
Changed device name,
Added or deleted device,
The device has been reset.

4. Control device by voice

Now you can say to Alexa for voice control.

When using the skill, you will need to specify by name which device to use.
For example, if you named one of your devices “Bedroom Lamp” (plug in ihc for EU Smart Plug), you can say: “Alexa, turn off my Bedroom Lamp.”

If you named another device “TV” (controlled by ihc for EU Smart Remote Control), you can say: “Alexa, turn on TV” ”Alexa, turn up the volume on TV” ”Alexa, next channel on TV” “Alexa, pause on TV”.

Troubleshooting:
If Alexa returns voice the device isn’t responding, there might be because the device is offline. Please try to access the device in ihc for EU App. If the App shows “Device is offline”, please check your network connection until you can access the device in app.
