With the "BroadLink BLE" and Google Home, you can now interact with your FastCon BLE devices by voice. SUPPORTED DEVICES AND VOICE COMMANDS This action supports all FastCon BLE (Bluetooth) devices which can be operated in BroadLink BLE App. Please be noted this action DOES NOT support BroadLink WiFi devices (use “BroadLink” action instead). * A FastCon BLE gateway or hub is required for Hey Google voice control Please visit https://www.ibroadlink.com/downloads to get a full list of supported device list and voice control commands for your reference. HOW TO USE 1. Download and install BroadLink BLE App and Google Home App
Search "BroadLink BLE" App from App Store or Google Play (NOT "BroadLink" App). After installation, you don't need to sign up an account for quick use. Google Home App is also required to be installed before linking. 2. Add and control devices
Follow device manuals to set up devices and gateway/hub in BroadLink BLE App and make sure you can remotely control them via external networks (temporarily disable Bluetooth and use 3G/4G) - because Hey Google service requires Internet connection. 3. Link with Google
In BroadLink BLE App, click "Me" > "Link with voice services" and choose "Hey Google". Just click "Link now" and you will be redirected to Google Home App to complete.
Another way is to search "BroadLink BLE" action in Google Home App and click "Enable", then click "Agree and Link" to complete.
No credentials are required during linking. 4. Discover devices
After linking with Google, Google Home App will automatically discover devices you've added in BroadLink BLE and show them up.
Later if you have new devices added in BroadLink BLE App, they can be automatically show up in Google Home App.
The device name you set in BroadLink BLE App will be automatically synced to Google Home. 5. Control device by voice
Now you can say to Google Home for voice control. For example, if you named a smart bulb as “Lamp”, you could say: “Hey Google, turn off Lamp” or “Hey Google, dim Lamp to 50%”. TROUBLESHOOTING If the voice control is not successful, it may because the gateway/hub is offline. Please try to control them via external networks (disabled Bluetooth). If it fails, please check your network connection with the gateway/hub until you can remotely control the devices in app. You can also get our support by:
