CareRinger Companion (care ringer) is an app to be used with the CareRinger service for telephone reassurance. You can use it to cancel your next check-in call from CareRinger by simply saying “Alexa, ask care ringer to cancel.” When there is no pending check-up call, Alexa will respond “No pending check-up call found.”
You can also use it to initiate a check-in call anytime when you need help from your designated-contact(s). Just say, “Alexa, ask care ringer to check on me” or “Alexa, ask care ringer to call me in 10 minutes.” Depending on the set up, CareRinger may call more then once if the first call is not answered, to be sure. Your designated-contact will be notified when none of the calls are answered.

To use the CareRinger Companion (care ringer), you must enable the companion skill and link the skill to your CareRinger account to activate the companion app. When asked, you must provide the CareRinger participant phone number and one designated-contact phone number specified in the CareRinger sign-up form for the check-in call.
