CareRinger Companion (check on me) is an application to be used with the CareRinger service for telephone reassurance. You can use it to cancel your next check-in call from CareRinger by simply saying “Alexa, ask check on me to cancel.” When there is no pending check-in call, Alexa will respond “No pending check-in call found.”
You can also use it to initiate a check-in call anytime when you need help from your designated-contact(s). Just say, “Alexa, ask CHECK ON ME to call me now”, or “Alexa, ask CHECK ON ME to call me in 30 minutes.” Depending on the set up, CareRinger will call at the time of your choosing. It may call more than once depending on the set-up. Your designated-contact will be notified when none of the calls are answered.

To use the CareRinger (check on me) Companion, you must enable the companion skill and link the skill to your CareRinger account to activate the companion app. When asked, you must provide the CareRinger participant phone number and one designated-contact phone number specified in the CareRinger sign-up form for the check-up call.

“Alexa, ask CHECK ON ME to call now” to initiate the next check-in call immediately “Alexa, ask CHECK ON ME to call me in 2 hours” to initiate the next check-in call in 2 hours “Alexa, ask CHECK ON ME to cancel” to cancel any pending check-in call
